Fred is a life long resident of the Doylestown area. He graduated from Central Bucks in 1959 followed by four years in the Marine Corps. He attended LaSalle University and graduated with a degree in accounting. Fred became a CPA and has practiced in the area all of his adult life. Retirement now affords him the time to pursue painting as a serious endeavor.

Fred is self taught and uses a limited palette of transparent watercolors. He is most fond of painting landscape of Bucks County. Old photos of local scenes often serve as an inspiration for his award winning paintings.
